FRED Warner is married to Sydney Hightower, who caught his eye when she appeared on The Bachelor.
The San Francisco 49ers star, 27, and model, 28, tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Vista, California, in June 2022.
Sydney revealed Fred slid into her Instagram messages after she was eliminated from Peter Weber’s season of The Bachelor in 2020.
“He actually sent me an emoji [because] he didn’t think I was gonna respond and that’s why he got really casual, but it was sweet,” she told Us Weekly.
She added that it was Fred’s brother who first saw her onscreen and encouraged the NFL star to contact her.
The linebacker proposed a year later in May 2021.
They married at a small chapel that was flown in from France.
The venue was decorated with baby breath orchids and white roses, and the couple put on a candlelit reception.
Many Bachelor Nation stars attended the wedding, including Kiarra Norman, Victoria Fuller, Tammy Ly, Savannah McKinley, Natasha Parker, Victoria Paul and Kylie Ramos.
Meanwhile, Fred invited his brother, Troy Warner, and other NFL stars, including Azeez Alshaair, Terrell Burgess, Dre Greenlaw, Emmanuel Moseley, Dante Pettis, and Kyle Van Noy.
“I’ll never be able to express into words the magic of June 25th,” Sydney wrote on Instagram a month after the ceremony.
“The love and support that filled those walls was inescapable. I am still in awe that I get to be this incredible man’s wife and love him for the rest of our days.
“We will cherish these photos & memories endlessly.”
The newlyweds topped off the festivities with a honeymoon in Tahiti
Sydney announced she was pregnant with a baby boy in October 2023.
“The past several months we have experienced the most precious moments of our lives,” she wrote on Instagram at the time, alongside a video of their ultrasound appointment.
“Every weekly milestone and new development has been indescribable…the best is yet to come!”
The influencer concluded: “Baby Warner arriving March 2024.”
The pregnant star – who hosts the podcast, The Warner House, with Fred – often supports her athlete husband on the field.
Sydney cheered from the sidelines at the NFC Championship in January.
The Alabama native shared several photos at the game, including one of Fred cradling her baby bump afterward.
“We’re headed to the SUPERBOWL!” Sydney captioned the slide.
“Making memories this year that will last a lifetime. Our son will see these photos one day and know he was in my belly when daddy won the NFC Championship.
“We are blessed. So proud of you #54.”
