Christian McCaffrey might miss another whole month of football. The San Francisco 49ers star is dealing with Achilles tendinitis, which has the RB sidelined since the 2024 season began.
Olivia Culpo, who married the running back in June 2024, has been a constant presence at McCaffrey’s NFL games for years. With CMC injured, however, the newly married couple hasn’t been able to attend a game.
However, not being physically present at the game doesn’t mean Culpo isn’t enjoying Sunday football.
“Comin in hott,” Olivia Culpo wrote on her IG story. “Sundays are for football and chilli. This is the best turkey chilli recipe>>>.”
She even shared her recipe, which the former Miss Universe originally posted in 2017.
“Sunday’s are for football, vino, and homemade turkey chili + cornbread 🦃 ,” Culpo wrote back in 2017.
According to TMZ, the power couple has purchased a $14.5 million LA mansion.
Nestled in a private area and surrounded by trees, the six-bedroom, 7,500-square-foot house was owned by Hollywood star George Clooney.
Clooney originally bought the house from legendary singer Steve Nicks in 1995. Over thirty years ago, the “Gravity” star paid $2.2 million for the house.
The home also comes with separate guest houses, a pool, and a tennis court.
When is Christian McCaffrey expected to return from injury?
McCaffrey has been injured and sitting out for weeks. The RB even traveled to Germany, seeing a specialist to work on his injury. Though he might miss months, rumors claim CMC could be back on the field in early November.
On Sunday, September 29, NFL Insider Ian Rapoport spoke about McCaffrey’s possible return timeline:
“My understanding: Now that he is back in the United States, it seems like the treatment went well. There is a chance he could run on hard ground this week which would be a step forward. For those worried about McCaffrey not playing at all this year, my understanding is the 49ers are not rushing him but they do expect him back at least by early November.”
Without CMC on the roster and a few other injuries to deal with, the 49ers are 2-2 going into Week 4.
