Fred Warner and his wife Sydney announced the birth of their first child on Monday.
NFL star Warner, 27, and The Bachelor alum Sydney, 28, welcomed son Beau Anthony, via C-section in San Jose, California on March 7.
The 49ers star said, ‘Sydney’s surgery went well. He’s a healthy boy! We’re over the moon and can’t wait to get home from the hospital and start our new life’ as the pair posed with their newborn.
Throughout her pregnancy, Sydney documented her experience to one day share with her son.
‘Truly the best day of my life. Hardest thing I’ve ever done but the love I have for this little boy is something I can’t explain,’ she wrote via social media, ‘Nothing else matters as much to me than him. It’s the most intense love.’
She said on her Instagram stories, ‘I honestly couldn’t imagine that I could love Fred anymore than I already did. Beau has no idea how lucky he is
‘Watching him become a dad has made my heart grown more in love with him ten fold.’
The first-time-father revealed that he wants his son to play football too when he said, ‘He’ll run that forty-yard dash with the combine at no time.’
Sydney expressed her excitement for the upcoming season since she will be supporting her husband with their infant son from the sidelines:
‘There are so many kids, so many mamas and babies, that are in the NFL and I’ve never gotten to be part of that group. And now that I am, it’s such an incredible place to be
‘Of course, these memories by yourself are amazing, but to have them as a pregnant mom or with kids is so special. I’m so excited to be a part of the NFL mama crew.’
The famous couple, who were featured on the 2020 season of The Bachelor, got engaged in May 2021 and married in June 2022 in Vista, California.
They revealed the pregnancy when they shared a clip from one of their ultrasound visits back in October.
‘The past several months we have experienced the most precious moments of our lives. Every weekly milestone and new development has been indescribable…the best is yet to come,’ they wrote in a joint statement then.
When she was 35 weeks pregnant, Sydney said she would not pass up the opportunity to support her husband in Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas.
‘I have gotten the clear from my doctor, so from a medical standpoint, I feel good,’ she wrote prior to the big game.
Just weeks before giving birth, she cheered him on with her full bump on display as the couple posed for photos on the field.
