“She is making him happy, he is making her happy, and that is the most important,” a source told The U.S. Sun.
“He likes simple things, and she is the perfect person for him, as she has the same kind of preference for this way of life.
“That is a very solid duo, they really do enjoy what they are living, and I see this going far.”
Belichick first met the 24-year-old during a plane ride from Boston to Florida in 2021.
Sources reported that Belichick took interest in schoolwork that Hudson was working on at the time and they hit it off from there.
The couple reportedly conversed about Hudson’s Deductive Logic textbook and Belichick signed the book for her.
Their relationship only came to light in recent months.
But after going public, their romance has blossomed ever since, with the pair spotted out and about on July 4 enjoying a picturesque bike ride around Nantucket.
The couple were also spotted wearing matching rings on their left index fingers, increasing speculation their relationship was growing more serious.
Belichick and Hudson have now been living together for several months, per TMZ.
“He is a very happy man,” a source close to Belichick told The U.S. Sun.
“He has found a great person that makes him happy, that is the most important thing.
“They get along very well, you feel that their connection has been solid and they really are a very solid duo.
“It’s kind of a huge refreshing blow of air for him, as he had a very bad year last season.”
The former New England Patriots head coach is keeping busy by signing a new broadcast deal with The CW Network.
And Belichick appears content to enjoy the blossoming romance in the tranquility of Nantucket.
He owns several properties on the island with a total estimated value of $7 million.
Belichick reportedly splashed the cash to buy Hudson a $75,000 Porsche last month.
“After many years of hard work, pressure and all the media attention and putting football and the Patriots as his No. 1 priority, he is now living and making the best of his time,” the source added.
The downsides of having a massive age gap relationship
Dr. Mann claimed it might initially feel exciting when one partner is much younger than the other, like Bill Belichick, 72, and Jordon Hudson, 24, who share a whopping 48-year age difference.
“When people get older, they might just think it is refreshing that a young woman is looking at them adoringly and is attracted to them and is interested in him,” Dr. Mann told The U.S. Sun.
“[But] there is a huge gap in life experience — in just years on this planet, in the way that helps us to evolve, develop, and mature.”
“Even the most mature young person, when there is a 40-year age gap, the older people are incredibly immature.
“You’re not meeting in the middle regarding development and life experience.”
Dr. Mann said one common consideration for older male partners would be the younger female wanting a father figure.
“Usually, younger women are drawn to much older men because of unresolved issues with their fathers,” Dr. Mann added.
“This could be a lack of attention, love, someone not being there, or even someone being in the household but not being present the way she might wish he was.”
Dr. Mann noted that sexual and intimacy issues might begin to be at play, given the older partner may not have as much energy.
What’s more, for older men, “it becomes more difficult typically to get and maintain an erection,” she said.
“There are problems related to sexual performance, which can create other risks when it comes to taking medication for sexual performance.”
Socially, Dr. Mann suggested that issues may arise between a couple when they mix with friends from different generations.
“In this case, if they’re hanging with Bill’s friends in their seventies or even sixties and fifties, a 24-year-old woman at that table will likely struggle to find common ground socially,” she said.
