Brittany Mahomes ripped off Post Malone’s Dallas Cowboys jacket while he was performing at the 2024 Super Bowl afterparty, forcing him to change into Kansas City Chiefs merch.
In an Instagram video shared by partygoer Andrew Carter in the early hours of Monday morning, the singer, 28, had just wrapped up his song “Sunflowers” at Zouk Nightclub at Resorts World Las Vegas when Mahomes, also 28, climbed onstage and immediately took off his jacket.
Malone — whose real name is Austin Richard Post — stared at Mahomes in shock before telling her that he would rock the Chiefs’ red and white varsity jacket for just one song.
The wife of quarterback Patrick Mahomes shook her head while helping the Grammy nominee into the new outfit as people around them cheered and chanted her name.
There seemed to be no bad blood between the two, however, as they shared a laugh and a hug before she returned to her husband, who was standing behind the stage.
Their interaction came hours after the Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 in overtime and took home the Vince Lombardi Trophy for the second year in a row. Malone performed ahead of the game, singing a folky version of “America the Beautiful.”
Patrick, 28, was named Most Valuable Player as he celebrated on the field with his wife of almost two years and their two kids.
The Sports Illustrated cover model has been a staple at Patrick’s games, often rocking red and black in support of the Chiefs.
For the Super Bowl, Brittany wore a red leather corset and matching pants customized by BroDenim. One pant leg was adorned with her spouse’s jersey number, 15, and the other with his last name.
She later changed into a black cutout mini dress, the same one she wore during her interaction with Malone, matching her outfit with new best friend Taylor Swift.
The singer — who had traveled from Tokyo to Las Vegas the night before after performing three back-to-back Eras Tour concerts — wore a black corset and cutout jeans, completing the look with her boyfriend Travis Kelce’s sparkly jacket to stay warm.
Swift and Kelce, both 34, danced the night away after the Chiefs’ big win and their celebratory PDA on the field.
Like Brittany, the pop superstar has been attending nearly all of Kelce’s games since debuting their relationship in September.
