It has now been over a year since multi-Grammy Award-winning artist Taylor Swift went public with her relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. The couple has since gone a long way, including a recent relationship milestone that saw them celebrate their first Thanksgiving together with their families.
At this point, it comes as no surprise that there has been a lot to talk about the happy couple taking their relationship to the next level. That is, their multitude of fans are eager to know if wedding bells are already on the horizon for Swift and Kelce.
A new report from Us Weekly has now revealed how the couple feels about moving forward with their romance. According to the report, both Swift and Kelce are ready to do so.
“After more than a year of dating, Swift and Kelce have talked about the next steps,” read the Us Weekly report. “A second source tells Us that while they’d both ‘love to be engaged,’ it’s a matter of timing, noting that they ‘aren’t rushing it.’”
Apparently, Swift, 34, is more than comfortable with taking things slow when it comes to relationships, per Us Weekly’s source.
“Taylor does feel like Travis is The One, but jumping in is not her style,” said another source of Us Weekly. “That’s just not how she does [things]. Marriage is a big deal, and she wants [it to be] forever.”
Based on the report, it is clear that Swift is willing to spend the rest of her life with Kelce. However, she’s not forcing anything and would rather let time determine how and when their relationship moves forward.
This only means that there’s not too much pressure on Kelce, 35, to propose in the immediate future. To be fair, though, the report indicates that he, too, is very much looking forward to marrying Swift.
