Septuagenarian supermodel Maye Musk — whose son is Tesla billionaire-turned-Department of Government Efficiency head Elon — left her mark on NYFW Friday, closing the Juzui show in a shimmering silver gown and a fluffy white fur coat that matched her signature silver coif.
In the show notes, the brand called 76-year-old Maye “a true embodiment of timeless elegance” who “[underscores] the strength and enduring beauty that defines Juzui.
While Maye has strutted her stuff for Dolce & Gabbana, Christian Siriano and Philipp Plein in recent years, Juzui clearly holds a special place in the Canadian-South African stunner’s heart.
For the past several seasons running, she’s reserved her runway appearances exclusively for creative director Taoray Wang’s shows, always walking as the final model.
The “A Woman Makes a Plan” author even wore her closing look from the label’s spring 2025 show — another silver gown, this one with dramatic caped sleeves and green embellishments at the collar and waist — for a visit to President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Club with Elon in November.
A former Democrat who’s since become an outspoken fan of the new POTUS, Maye was in attendance at his inauguration earlier this month alongside sons Elon, 53, and Kimbal, 52, and daughter Tosca, 50.
At the candlelight dinner ahead of Trump’s swearing-in, the dietician dazzled in a ruby-hued Oscar de la Renta caftan gown with orchid embroidery at the neckline, and for the inaugural balls, she wore a custom crimson Gustavo Cadile dress inspired by rose petals.
And while Elon and DOGE’s early efforts to slash federal spending have sparked controversy, Maye has been sharing her support for her son (and the new presidential administration) on his social media platform, X, on a near-daily basis.
“Even my Democrat friends are excited for the future of America. Confused, but happy,” she posted on Jan. 26.
