As 49ers Contract Talks Heat Up, Brock Purdy’s Wife Shares Peek into Their Offseason Adventures

Newlyweds Jenna and Brock Purdy are making the most of the NFL offseason in the great outdoors.

Taking to her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, the wife of the 49ers quarterback posted snaps from the couple’s adventures exploring California, which included stops at McWay Falls and the Tan Bark Trail in Big Sur.

“Worth it,” Jenna captioned a scenic photo of herself and Purdy, 24

Her posts come a short time after the pair honeymooned in Turks and Caicos, where they rode jet skis and walked on the beach.

Jenna, who met Purdy while attending Iowa State University, posted a heartfelt message to the quarterback following the crushing loss.

“What a season to be proud & thankful for,” Jenna wrote on Instagram in February, to which Purdy replied, “Love you girl. Thanks for all you do babe.”

Formerly known as “Mr. Irrelevant,” Purdy — who was the final pick in the 2022 NFL Draft at No. 262 — became a sensation in his rookie season when he relieved then-injured starter Jimmy Garoppolo in December 2022 to help lead the 49ers to an NFC Championship berth.

Should Purdy continue to dazzle in his third season at the helm, a massive extension could be in the works for 2025, when he is officially eligible.

“It’s a good problem when you’re quarterback is one of the highest-paid guys on your team and in the league,” York said at the annual league meetings this week in Orlando, according to The Mercury News.

Purdy will earn $985,000 for the 2024 season, the third year of his four-year, $3.7 million rookie contract, according to Spotrac.
