A two-headed mummy of a human and a crocodile has been photographed for the first time in ancient Egypt. Photo credit: Hurriyet Daily News It consists of the head and body of an unidentified ancient Egyptian princess and a Nile crocodile.

After the princess was killed by a crocodile, the government decided to combine the two bodies, Hurriyet reported.

He is reportedly expected to be resurrected as a crocodile in the afterlife.

The mummy was brought to Turkey from Egypt during the reign of Ottoman Sultan Abdulaziz in the mid-19th century.

Topkapi Palace in Istanbul is no longer open to the public.

It was previously stored in the Yildiz Palace, which was the residence of the Sultan at the time.

In February, we revealed how the mystery of ancient Egypt’s “screaming mummies” that had baffled experts for years was finally solved.

When archaeologists first discovered the mummified body, they were shocked to see that the long-dead Egyptian’s face was twisted in pain and he appeared to be screaming silently.

Dr. Bob Brill, an archaeologist at Long Island University in New York who examined the body, said: “There were two forces acting on this mummy: one trying to get rid of it, and another trying to preserve it. ”
